When Kind and Talented Youth foresee the needs of Present and Future…!

When Young Talent Meets Gratitude!

Jeeyar Asramam New Jersey, USA. Several young volunteers inspired by Swamiji message donated their entire gift amounts received in their “Rangapravesam” event. The youth willing to donate their gift amount for good causes.

 

 

Himaja Reddy Vendidandi 15 year old high school student has been dancing since she was 7 years old. She has been involved at Jeeyar Asramam community service activites for the last 4 years. She has donated all her gift amount $2000 from her dance event to support Statue of Equality – center for enlightenment.

Sriya Vudata has been learning Kuchipudi dance since the age of 7, and began her tutelage under Guru Smt. Indira Sreeram Reddy at age 9. Through the Center for Kuchipudi Dance, she has participated in many cultural programs in the Tri-State area and grown a great fondness for dance. Aside from dance, Sriya has been an active member of Jeeyar Educational Trust (JET) since the age of 6 and began volunteering in its sister organization, VT Seva, ever since the conception of the New Jersey branch. From helping to conduct fundraising events to volunteering at underprivileged schools in India, she has poured numerous hours into both organizations, and received the gold and bronze President’s Volunteer Service Award. Sriya also enjoys playing the flute, which she has expressed through her participation in her high school’s Wind Ensemble, Philharmonic Orchestra, Marching Band, and Pit Orchestra. Sriya is attending the Honors College at Rutgers University, and continuing serving the society. She has donated all her gift amounts $6,200 from her Rangapravesam to support Bhagavad Ra:ma:nuja message on Equality. Last year istead of spending money on her sweet sixteen birthday party, she preferred to donate all the amount $32,000 to support Statue of Equality.

Arnav Seelam, attended Prajna classes at Jeeyar Asramam

Arnav Seelam, attended Prajna classes at Jeeyar Asramam. He began learning tabla at the young age of seven, under Mike Lukshis, and later, under Kaumil Shah, both of whom are senior disciples of Pandit Divyang Vakil. During his twelve years of playing, Arnav has performed on various occasions both as a soloist and accompanist, and is educated in the Delhi, Ajrada, and Punjab Gharanas of tabla. Besides music and sports, he likes to volunteer at local and overseas organizations. Apart from volunteering at JET and VT Seva events, Arnav volunteers for Uplift Humanity of India (since 2014).  Currently, he is the team leader for their ambassador program which fundraises for juvenile rehabilitation in Hyderabad. He is currently studying finance at NYU Stern. Arnav also has been teaching tabla for the past two year. He has donated all his gift amounts $4200 from his Tabla Concert to educate visually challenged children.

Nikitha Sreeram Dixith a 14 years old high school student has been involved in JET and VT Seva fund raising events since 2012 to support HH activities.  She has donated all her gift amounts $8000 to educate underprivileged children.
