About JIVA Asramam

JIVA, or Jeeyar Integrated Vedic Academy, was established in 2008 to protect and promote Vedic literature and values. JIVA was established to commemorate HH Srimannarayana Pedda Jeeyar Swamiji’s centennial celebrations. Covering an area of 53 acres, JIVA contains not only a Ve:dic Gurukulam, but also computer labs, JIMS hospitals, a go:sa:la, Ne:thra Vidya:laya (school for visually challenged), and even an upcoming Homeopathy Degree College.

JIVA is working towards demonstrating and applying our Vedic wisdom and practices through a modern context so that it is applicable to one and all. Research projects are being planned to relate modern science with Vedic principles thereby showcasing our ancient knowledge as the foundation for most of today’s inventions and discoveries.

To commemorate Bhagavad Ra:ma:nuja:cha:rya’s millenial appearance a new structure at the height of 216 feet called Statue of Equality will be constructed by 2017. The unveiling of this august monument will make JIVA a center for spiritual preservation and learning. It will be an iconic memorial in honour of the greatest acharya in our lineage.

Testimonials

I am happy that I listened to my friend and came to JIVA. The experience is beyond words. Very peaceful and calm. My kids loved the place too. They went to gosala and fed the cows. One should visit the temple which is very unique having 3 tiers with wonderful paintings taking one to a different world. I plan to visit the asram whenever I am free.
Padmavathi
I joined here as a web designer expecting this place to be like other offices. But, the very first day I realized I have taken a very good decision. The serene atmosphere, the pious environment, the continuous Vedic, Ramayana, Bhagawatham chantings in the temple are giving me peace and happiness, not to mention about tasty prasadams in the temple. The experience is beyond words. I recommend everyone to visit the place and get energized.
Phani Kumar
I visited JIVA for the first time in 2012 during Chathurmasyam. It was right after my Samasrayanam. I fell in love with Vaikunttha Nattha perumal in the temple. I also found the asram to be very open and peaceful. All the devotees and volunteers make the environment very spiritual and enlightening. I also liked the go:sa:la and with all the love the cows are taken care of.
